Dan is an accomplished architectural designer with more than thirty years of experience across the architectural and construction industries. As director and lead architectural designer, he brings an exceptional breadth of technical knowledge, practical experience, and a strong client-focused approach to every project.
Dan began his career at just sixteen years old, going on to complete a HNC at college before continuing his studies at Manchester University. Since then, he has built a diverse and successful career spanning both the public and private sectors, including ten years working within local authority.
Over the course of his career, Dan has worked across an extensive range of sectors and project types, including hospitals, schools, industrial new build developments, commercial properties, and HMOs. His residential experience is equally extensive, ranging from single-storey extensions and property alterations through to substantial bespoke new build homes.
Having worked with everyone from individual homeowners to large organisations and major clients, Dan understands that great architectural design is about more than drawings. He places enormous importance on listening to clients, understanding their ambitions, and providing clear practical guidance throughout the design and development process. His approachable customer-facing style, combined with decades of technical experience, enables him to build strong and lasting relationships with clients, consultants, and fellow industry professionals.
With more than three decades in the profession, Dan has developed a wealth of knowledge and a trusted network of relationships across the industry. His ability to combine creative design thinking with practical, commercially aware solutions makes him an invaluable part of every project he is involved in.
Outside of architecture, Dan's other great passion is football, particularly the grassroots game. He manages an under-eights football team and thoroughly enjoys helping young players develop their skills and love of the sport. A Manchester City supporter, Dan is also a keen follower of his local club, Fleetwood Town Football Club, and can regularly be found in the stands at their games.
